It's actually really difficult to get a decent photo of Ellie here because she's afraid of my camera.
I honestly don't know why.

This is a great picture, considering cats usually move around alot :P it must have been either a really hard to take shot or a really nicely timed one.

The background beign so blurry makes the cat stand out really nice.
its a good detailed shot of the cat and the fact its just more than half its head, gives it this nice non posed feeling.

I'm sure we have all seen pictures of cats in the center of the camera or there head chopped in the middle but this is way nicer.

I whould have however made the light on top of his head/ear a bit darker as it takes away the attention from the cat itself.

I do love the reflection in its eye.

Overall its a great picture, nicely taken nice blurry background great stance for the cat.

i think its because of all the mechanical noises cameras make while focusing or changing settings. i had a cat that would act the same way. i've only ever gotten two pictures of her in her lifetime. being mine is a digital camera it, makes things easier for both of you if you're able to mute any shutter sounds it'd make.

That may be it, so I'll see what I can do.
